Merimee Project
The Mérimée project embodies a bold reinterpretation of the entrance to a 1960s architect-designed house, nestled in Mérignac near Bordeaux.
In this historically infused residence, the goal was to preserve the authenticity of its original design while infusing it with new life.
Iconic 1960s architectural elements, such as thick stucco, black tiles, and paneling, were preserved and enhanced.
Through custom furnishings and retro screens, the retro-chic spirit of the era was revived, creating an entrance that is both timeless and decidedly modern.
The subtle marriage between the past and the present reflects a creative and respectful approach to architectural heritage.
