Transformation of a typical Landes house
This Landes-style house located in Gujan-Mestras on the Arcachon Bay has been completely redesigned to combine the charm of the old with a warm contemporary interior design. The goal was to modernize the interior using natural materials, soft colors, and bespoke furniture.
The living room, bright and welcoming, features light tones and wooden accents, while the kitchen opens onto the dining area with a curved glass partition and wallpaper inspired by local tones. A terracotta and light wood office provides a calming workspace.
The bedrooms have been designed as true retreats :
- An elegant master suite with soft materials and natural tones.
- A playful and adaptable children’s bedroom.
- A young girl’s bedroom in green, brass, and touches of pink, creating a refined and timeless atmosphere.
Finally, the bathroom, clad in green zellige tiles and brass details, creates a soft and elegant ambiance.
